Philosophy:
The Piranhas Swim Club of Fort is a competitive swim club committed to providing an opportunity in a friendly environment for children who wish to pursue improved physical fitness, to sharpen their swimming skills, to experience competing in local Region C swim meets, Regionals and the Alberta Summer Swimming Provincials. Our club is primarily geared to children, ages 4-18. We believe in the concept of setting and realizing the personal goals of each individual swimmer, but we also strongly incorporate a team spirit of positive attitudes, respect and responsibility. Our club values involvement in all club activities including: training, competition, social events and fundraising. All our club members, volunteers and coaching staff, as outlined in our Code of Conduct, supports these values. News for 2012: This season we are piloting a new Program: The Piranha Minnows. There will be available one squad of 6 swimmers this year, of Children 7 years or younger. They must be able to swim one length of the Harbour Pool to register. For more info on this program please visit the Registration Page. (Thank you to all who registered for the Minnows this year: this program is now full. If you are still interested you may contact the registrar to be placed on a waiting list.) This season we are also offering an AM Competitive Swim Option of 12 morning sessions. (This will not be available to our Piranhas Minnows.) Registration for the AM session will close June 4/12.
